As it is known, the 79years tempestuous history of the TIF is absolutely interwoven with the newer history of the city of Thessalonica as well as economy, commercial, cultural and social development of the entire Greece.

This history of this brilliant institution with the Pan-Hellenic impression and the international scope, is recorded and imprinted in the under manufacture General and Historical File of the TIF. In its rich content there are contained evidences, so much of the functional development of the Organism (official documents, forms and publications of various events of institution, receipts etc), as much as the historical course of these events that are still performed (like for instance General Fair of September) or even these that ceased their function or acquired other organizer (like for instance the Festival of Greek Song, Festival of Greek and International Cinema).

The historical importance that will acquire this enormous business when it is completed and determined the way of its exploitation is obvious.
