In Lisbon returns the minister of Rural Growth and Foods on Sunday 10 of April, Evangelos Basiakos, so that he inaugurates the Greek kiosk in the fair of foods and drinks Alimentaria Lisboa 2005. It is the first Greek attendance in international fame fair of Iberian peninsula. It was rendered feasible under the organisational responsibility of TIF.

Mr. Basiakos will be found in the Portuguese capital head of governmental level, trying to underlined the sensitivity of Greek government for the promotion of rural products in the international markets. Between the governmental executives that will accompany him they are the general secretaries of ministries of Rural Growth and Macedonia Thrace, Christos Avgoulas and Loukas Ananjkas respectively, but also the general secretary of Region of Western Macedonia, Andreas Leoudis. In the openings they will also assist the commissioned adviser of TIF, Nikos Kasimatis and other members of the administrative council of the company, that will coordinate the Greek presence in the Alimentaria.

On Monday Mr. Basiakos will have meeting with his homologous Minister of Portuguese government, while also it assists in enterprising meetings of Greek exhibitors. The Greek kiosk will adorn from the 10 until 13 April the products of twenty five enterprises of sector of foods-drink from Thessalonica, Kozani, Larissa and the Ionian Islands. Of course at the duration of Alimentaria the Greek businessmen will have the occasion to meet itself with representatives Portuguese and other companies, investigating the territory for likely collaborations.

EUROVISION in ALIMENTARIA

Apart from the enterprising and economic dimension of Report, TIF becomes supporter in the effort for the promotion of Greek candidature in this year's Eurovision. Activating her collaboration with ERT it will entertain in the openings of Greek kiosk in the fair of foods and drinks "Alimentaria Lisboa 2005" Elena Paparjzou and the song of "My number ONE". The famous singer will realise a visit in the Alimentaria, under the sounds and the picture of the popular song, that will be transmitted by installed screen in the Greek kiosk.

Elena Paparjzou will be accompanied by Alexandra Paschaljdou, the journalist who has undertaken the presentation of this year's Eurovision in the Greek public.

An effort is made in order that the promotion of the Greek candidature be also continued in the frame of attendance of TIF in the Fair of Manufactures and Structural Materials in the Czech city Brno, that is organised from the 19 to 23 April.
